My daughter and I were on our way to Whangamata and decided on some refreshments and a break. We noticed the GLORY cafe and stopped, next to information center a bonus the cafe was bustling so we treated ourselves to a coffee and a light snack. The counter staff were very friendly and helpful, we were directed to a Nice corner table, within an acceptable timeframe our order was bought to us by a smiling waitress. The coffee was hot and delicious as was our snack! I honestly would have no hesitation to recommend The Glory to my discerning traveler friends wanting an exceptional break in their journey! Walked in the door and was greeted and the girls apologised for the delay in taking my order. I could see they had been busy as some tables hadn't been cleared yet. Food was tasty. What I loved was the half order of chips/fries what a clever idea. Thanks for a nice stopover.

Just grabbed a coffee and a date scone on our way to Auckland. Wow! Was the best date scone I've ever had! And I've had a lot. Had just come out of the oven... light, fluffy, just the right amount of dates. Delicious. Thank you!
